Leads EMRD’s global protection systems, overseeing legal defense, institutional safety, and crisis response. Ensures all actions uphold Islamic ethics, legality, and transparency.

Division: Legal Protection & Red-Line Enforcement

Ensures EMRD’s rights and integrity are defended through lawful, ethical, and Sharia-compliant measures. Leads all legal responses, compliance, and enforcement actions.

Head of Incident Response & Protection

Division: Crisis Management & Protection Operations

Coordinates fast, ethical responses to discrimination or threats. Manages incident reporting, protection measures, and mediation in collaboration with legal and security teams.

Head of Institutional & Personnel Security

Division: Internal Safety & Risk Management

Designs risk management systems, crisis protocols, and protection plans for EMRD offices, projects, and personnel. Supports welfare and legal defense during incidents.

Head of Partnerships & Government Relations

Division: Collaboration, Advocacy & Liaison Affairs

Builds partnerships with authorities and organizations. Represents EMRD in interfaith, advocacy, and policy dialogues, strengthening networks across Eritrea and the diaspora.

Head of Religious Freedom & Awareness

Division: Faith Rights, Education & Outreach

Promotes awareness of Muslim rights and coexistence through education and dialogue. Leads community outreach, interfaith engagement, and advocacy training programs.

Head of Communications & Public Protection Affairs

Division: Public Information & Donor Transparency

Manages EMRD’s communications during crises and ensures transparency. Issues statements, coordinates media relations, and maintains confidentiality in sensitive cases.

Head of Organizational Protection & Legal Defense

Division: EMRD Institutional & Community Protection Command

Oversees global protection of EMRD institutions, personnel, and reputation. Coordinates legal actions and partnerships with governments, councils, and international allies.

Head of Global Coordination & Intelligence Support

Division: Global Monitoring & Intelligence

Gathers verified intelligence and monitors global developments affecting EMRD. Maintains international communication networks and produces strategic risk briefs.

Head of Strategic Research, Policy & Documentation

Division: Policy, Data & Ethics Research

Leads institutional research, documentation, and policy development. Produces data-backed reports and ensures EMRD’s advocacy is factual, ethical, and Sharia-compliant.
